Before L'rosha was a jewellery brand, it was a question that Arwa Al-Saleh spent years exploring in depth at the University of Leeds: what does it truly mean to translate something? Not from one language to another, but from one form of meaning into an entirely different one.

She earned an MA and a PhD in Literary Translation to understand how stories transform as they cross cultures and forms — and arrived at a conviction: that a feeling, a landscape, or an inner world can be translated into the weight of a ring, the curve of a necklace, and a deliberate silence in a pair of earrings.

To learn the language of design, she joined Central Saint Martins — the institution that shaped Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen. She returned to the Kingdom with a rare expertise and launched L'rosha jewellery from the heart of Saudi Arabia.
